The Georgia Association of Conservation Districts (GACD) and the Lower Chattahoochee River Soil and Water Conservation District are partnering to present a free informational workshop for local farmers, producers, and anyone in the agriculture industry who wants to learn more about assistance programs for their agricultural operations. This workshop will discuss Farm Bill programs through USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service & Farm Service Agency along with State Conservation programs through the Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission.

Virtual Workshop for Beginning Farmers
Team Agriculture Georgia is excited to partner with the Georgia Heirs Property Law Center to offer a webinar on heirs property, estate planning, and free services to help farmers obtain clear title to their land. Representatives from the Georgia Forestry Commission, USDA Farm Service Agency, and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service will present. Attendees will also hear about the new Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) in the Southeast.

Workshop: Helping Producers Establish Pollinator Habitats on Blueberry Farms
Participants will also learn about wild bee genera and species in Georgia, their diet and nesting needs, phenology, and identification. Additionally, participants will learn about natural enemies important for biological control of blueberry pests.
