Join us on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 11 am as we share the basics of food safety for urban farmers in two back-to-back workshops. These educational sessions are designed to provide beginning and established farmers with the basics for creating a food safety plan for their operation. Speakers will help create a food safe culture on your farm, discuss tools, and provide tips on building low-cost, food safe infrastructure.
The workshops will be co-lead by Fredando Jackson, Executive Director of Flint River Fresh and Billy Mitchell, Food Safety Modernization Act Training Coordinator with National Farmer Unions.
