Community Garden Grant Application from Food Well Alliance Now Open
Community gardens in Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties can apply to receive a $1,500 Community Garden Improvement Grant or apply to receive the $10,000 Garden Forward Grant!
The application window for our 2023 Community Garden Grants will be open from October 6 - November 13, and grants will be distributed at the beginning of 2023 ahead of the growing season. Community gardens can now apply for two opportunities through a single application:
Garden Improvement Grant: Similar to the Community Garden Grant in past years, this category is for $1,500 to address community garden needs like garden infrastructure, tools, garden materials, and/or supplies. Food Well will target 65 community gardens with this grant.
Garden Forward Grant: This new opportunity offers two community gardens $10,000 to accomplish a larger project. In addition to the $10,000 grant, Food Well is prepared to add in-kind support to your project valuing approximately $5,000. This in-kind support could include expanded compost delivery, support with additional project-related materials, and/or labor support for implementing parts of your Garden Forward project.
