The Georgia Association of Conservation Districts (GACD) and the Walton County Soil and Water Conservation District are partnering to present a free informational workshop for local farmers, urban agricultural enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to learn more about getting started in urban agriculture to discuss the basics of starting an urban agriculture operation.
This workshop will discuss general practices and options for starting an urban agriculture operation such as soil testing, raised beds, non-organic vs organic, aquaponics, and pollinators. Breakfast will be served. This is a free event but registration is required online at www.gacd.us/events.
