Seven Rivers RC&D will host a free workshop on the Farm Bill, USDA grants, and the Food Safety Modernization Act on February 25.
With generous support from the National Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils, Seven Rivers will host a free workshop at the Appling County Cooperative Extension and USDA service center. Donn Cooper of Cooper Agricultural Services will discuss updates to NRCS programs and USDA Grants authorized in the 2018 Farm Bill. Billy Mitchell of the National Farmers Union will also present on the Food Safety Modernization Act, with emphasis on its relevance to blueberry growers.
Farmers of all experience levels and product types are welcome. Space is limited.
