  • UGA South Milledge - Greenhouse Complex (map)

Vermiculture is the process of using worms to decompose organic waste into useful fertilizer. The worms decompose organic waste into vermicompost, a good fertilizer for plants which also helps improve soil structure and water retention. In this hands-on workshop, UGArden Farm Manager JoHannah Bing will teach the basics of getting started with vermiculture. Participants will receive a complimentary kit with starter worms.

Registration is free, and lunch is included.
