Joined by the University of Georgia Dougherty Count Extension office, Pretoria Fields Collective, which plans to grow hemp on its farmland as well as process raw hemp for farmers in 2020, will host a Hemp Farming Symposium at the Pretoria Fields Brewery in downtown Albany on October 24, 2019. The symposium will start promptly at 6 p.m. and will feature farm and hemp experts who will offer valuable information and answer any questions pertaining to growing and marketing the crop.

Dinner will be provided.

Topics discussed during the symposium will include:

• Growing hemp

• Selling hemp biomass

• Processing hemp

• Licensing
